ABOUT THE MODULES

The course involves filling out a short multiple-choice quiz, to see what you already know about the topic. You will then watch a video of the lecture, after which you’ll take another quiz so you can see what you have learned. You will then be asked for feedback about the module, which helps us improve this service.

The video includes residents’ case presentations, as well as the VPP lecture. MOC credits are awarded for the VPP lecture part of the video only, although we hope you will also enjoy the residents’ presentations as well. The start and stop times of the VPP lecture are indicated on the video page, if you prefer to jump ahead to that part of the video. The pre-video and post-video questions are based on the VPP lectures and do not include the resident cases.

About the MOC credits

These Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses are provided courtesy of the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, University of Toronto. This program is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Ophthalmology Society. Claiming credits through MAINPORT is now available under Section 3/Self-Assessment Program.
